The 2023 Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, and we are very pleased to announce that 6 films presented during WIFF 2022 have received a total of 8 nominations.
Olivia Colman received a nomination for her lead role in the WIFF 2022 Opening Night film, Empire of Light. The divisive Triangle of Sadness has been nominated in two categories – Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Supporting Actress for Dolly de Leon.
There are 3 WIFF 2022 films in the Best Motion Picture – Foreign Language category – All Quiet on the Western Front, Close and Decision to Leave.
The WIFF 2022 LiUNA People’s Choice Winner, Women Talking, has been nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Original Score.
The 80th Golden Globes will be broadcast live on January 10, 2023.
