In 2019, WIFF Village was introduced as an activation during the annual film festival where festival-goers and downtown visitors can sit to discuss films, grab a drink and enjoy live entertainment. With the street closed to traffic, the tented event space was in the heart of WIFF’s downtown footprint and helped further establish the festival atmosphere in the downtown core.
