WIFF is proud to call the Capitol Theatre home, as the main screening venue for the fall festival and for WIFF Presents. The historic theatre was opened in 1920 and WIFF began presenting films at the theatre in 2011. WIFF’s office is also located on the east side of the building.

Starting in 2016, WIFF began screening films in the Chrysler Theatre at the St. Clair College Center for the Arts. The theatre is WIFF’s largest screening venue and is used annually for the Opening Night film and party, as well as other special presentations.

After a full renovation was completed by the University of Windsor in 2017, WIFF began presenting films in the building’s performance hall in 2018. While the Armouries is the smallest of WIFF’s three venues, it offers an intimate viewing experience for patrons in a historical building in Downtown Windsor.
