Support one of the largest film festivals in all of Canada, and the largest in Southwestern Ontario. WIFF was built by Windsor, but is now enjoyed by patrons from around the country and across the border.

Be involved in one of the fastest growing cultural events in Southwestern Ontario. The festival has grown and expanded from 16 films, 21 screenings, and 2,705 tickets sold in 2005 to over 220 films, 310 screenings, and record breaking attendance of over 50,000 in 2025.

Invest in local talent. Programs like the Mark Boscariol 48-hour FlickFest, WIFF ‘Local’, and the Short Film Program convey the grit, passion and determination of making films, but they also provide invaluable experience for emerging local filmmakers.

Experience innovative programming. WIFF continuously offers a variety of cinematic experiences, from family-focused events, to special guest panels and interactive sessions, to film and product pairings, ensuring all film-going tastes are satisfied.

Help leverage and connect the community with the revitalization efforts of Downtown Windsor. WIFF has a tremendous impact on the economic and social revitalization of Windsor, especially within the downtown core.

Join your community. Each year WIFF brings more of the local community together to celebrate the art of cinema, culture and entertainment.

More of WIFF. WIFF has launched “WIFF Presents,” with screenings throughout the winter and spring, and other special events are held year-round, further connecting audiences to the WIFF experience and increasing brand recognition.

WIFF supports inclusion. WIFF programming and events aim to engage audience attendees through thought-provoking and catered content. WIFF showcases and supports diverse communities, such as Francophone, LGBTQ2+, and Women’s Issues.
