Vincent Georgie: The surprise hit of the Summer, not just in ticket sales, but for the wonderful animation, funny script co-written by Seth Rogen (who also voices “Bebop”) and the modern but loyal reimagination of this universe. The film has clearly been helmed by creators who actually loved the original series—a wonderful, pleasant surprise.
Synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend, April O’Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Vincent Georgie: The world’s most famous not famous singer/songwriter, Detroit-based phenomena was a legend for his astounding talent matched only by his anonymity. A real favourite from WIFF 2012, and the deserving winner of the Oscar for Best Documentary.
Synopsis: Though he faded into obscurity in the US, an early 1970s musician known as Rodriguez became a huge hit in South Africa and was widely rumoured to have died. Two obsessed fans set out to learn the man’s true fate.

Vincent Georgie: Come for the terrific, game cast of actors, but stay for the twisty and sexy thriller that only early 90s studios could deliver.
Synopsis: Unmarried yuppies, Patty and Drake move into an expensive dream home in a high-end neighbourhood in San Francisco. As they renovate the house, they look for a tenant for the first floor of their house. Carter Hayes seems like a great fit at first, but it transpires that he is a con artist who plans to swindle them out of their real estate. As Hayes tries to drive them out of their own home, the couple must take drastic measures to fight back.
