My name is Kaycia Milne. I am 15 years old and go to Assumption College Catholic High School. I love a good drama/thriller and enjoy action movies as well. My favourite films include, Coraline, Crimson Peak, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
My WIFF picks for this year are The Guilty, Rafiki and The Girl in the Fog.
The Girl in the Fog is a thrilling mystery written and directed by Donato Carrisi and based off his bestselling novel. The film follows Detective Vogel and his investigation of the disappearance of the Anna Lou, a 15 year old resident of Avechot (a small fictional village in Italy). Plagued by the demons of past unsolved cases, Vogel is desperate and determined to solve Anna Lou’s disappearance, uncovering dark secrets of the seemingly quiet village and its residents. The mystery shrouding this small town and the captivating plot of this foreign film have certainly grasped my attention. The directorial debut of Carrisi, The Girl in the Fog is definitely on my must watch list, especially during this spooky season.
