The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF), in association with LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor, presents YUNITY at WIFF Under the Stars by adding three music-themed screenings on Sunday, Sept. 13.
“It was a natural fit to partner with LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor”, said WIFF executive director and chief programmer, Vincent Georgie. “We are thrilled to support and showcase the splendour of music and musicians through film.”
ENCHANTED, directed by Kevin Lima,
THE DOORS, directed by Oliver Stone and
LOVE & MERCY, directed by Bill Pohlad are scheduled as part of the Sunday event.
“It was a great opportunity for two cultural organizations to continue to celebrate the arts in Downtown Windsor”, said LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor executive director, Carol Petroni.
“This is a unique extension to our YUNITY programming and one we are proud to present in association with WIFF”.
Additional Family Screenings Added
WIFF Under the Stars has added two additional family screenings to their morning matinee lineup. They include:
Sunday, September 13:

The morning matinee screenings are possible due to WIFF’s use of a state-of-the-art LED video wall and not standardized projection. All ticketholders will also be provided with a new portable audio device, that must be returned upon exit, for an enhanced viewing experience.
Tickets for all screenings are on sale now by visiting
windsorfilmfestival.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Matinees are $20/vehicle and evening double- features are $40/vehicle.
Patrons are encouraged to visit the website for more information, including restrictions and public health measures that will be enforced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
