WIFF Announces Advance Screening of JULES

The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) is pleased to announce an exclusive pre-release screening of Jules on August 8th, 2023, ahead of its wide release on August 18th, 2023.

The new film stars Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley as Milton, a man who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. The film also stars Harriet Sansom Harris (Frasier, Desperate Housewives), Jane Curtin (Coneheads) and Zoe Winters (Succession).

“Our audience has enthusiastically shown up and sold out recent WIFF Presents screenings, and we are pleased to continue offering early releases to our patrons,” said Vincent Georgie, Executive Director and Chief Programmer for WIFF. “Jules is a dramatic comedy that is both touching and entertaining, don’t miss it next month.”

This screening is part of the WIFF Presents series, which is presented by the Downtown Windsor Business Association. WIFF is grateful to the DWBIA for their continued support in hosting events in the downtown core.

The screening of Jules will be hosted at the Capitol Theatre on August 8th at 7 PM. Tickets are available online now and will be available at the door 30 minutes before showtime.
