WIFF is looking for energetic, fun and friendly members of the community who would like to help run our 2019 festival!

This year marks the 15th annual Windsor International Film Festival. Since it’s inception in 2004, WIFF has functioned as an entirely volunteer run organization, and has grown to become a major event in the city. Last year alone, WIFF sold over 24,000 tickets over the course of the seven-day festival, and looks to increase that number this year by running a 10-day festival.

The 2019 festival runs from November 1 – November 10.

If you’re interested in getting involved as a WIFF Volunteer and helping with the many facets of running a film festival, then this page will help you get started. Volunteers play an integral role at the festival, helping out at the theatres, Festival office, box office, events – and in many other areas too!

Please note:

  • All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
  • All volunteers must fulfill at minimum of 8 hours total throughout the festival
  • A mandatory volunteer orientation, date & location will be held: TBA
  • A voluntary WIFF Lockdown session (this event is a summary of all WIFF films to be presented during the festival) date & location will be held: TBA.

Anyone with an interest in applying to volunteer for the 2019 festival, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators, Nathan Parent and Keely Murdock by email at [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!
