WIFF Local Shorts #2
WIFF is committed to promoting and fostering local films and filmmakers and welcomes local short and feature film submissions for programming consideration to the festival. This year’s films were selected by judges on the basis of quality and originality, and on their ability to contribute significantly to the overall success of WIFF 2022.

Luca lives for pizza. In an attempt to create a documentary about the cultural exchange between Neapolitan and Windsor pizza, the Covid-19 pandemic diminishes any hopes of flying to Italy and exploring his cultural background. With an infinite amount of free time, (and a hunger for pizza), Luca and his twin sister, Gemma, aim to save the documentary.
Big Little Show directed by Gemma Eva (8 mins)
A playwright writes the perfect script but gets rejected by big-time producers. The writer must find a way to overcome the rejection by producing her play on her own in a small-but-mighty way.
