Everything Everywhere All At Once comes out on top with 11 nominations.
This morning the 95th Oscar nominees were announced in a live broadcast hosted by Oscar Winner Riz Ahmed and Alison Williams. It was an exciting morning with high hopes for a variety of big-budget sequels and smaller indie films. Leading the pack with a whopping 11 nominations is fan favourite Everything Everywhere All At Once. Following close behind and tied with 9 nominations each are All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of Inishirin.
Tune in today at 12 PM ET when WIFF Executive Director and Chief Programmer Vincent Georgie will be live with WIFF Director of Marketing and Communications Erika Sanborn. They’ll be diving into this morning’s announcements—who we were surprised to see, who we think is missing, and much more.
