“Each year, the Windsor International Film Festival brings together thousands of film lovers and creators, transforming downtown Windsor into a vibrant hub of storytelling, culture and community,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. “As part of protecting Ontario, our government is proud to support WIFF as it celebrates the incredible impact of film in Ontario while showcasing the diverse landscape of creative talent from across our province and around the globe.”

This incredible support enables to improve upon the celebrated festival experience, from quality of programming and screening experiences to marketing reach and professional development,” says Vincent Georgie, Executive Director and Chief Programmer of WIFF. “The support from the province of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility and Ontario Creates is vital in allowing WIFF to grow, increasing our reach, and bringing more audience members to the region.”
