Vincent Georgie: The New York Times readers recently named this film as the very best of the past 25 years. Bong Joon-ho’s masterfully entertaining social class suspense thriller is a knock-out of writing, directing, and ensemble acting. Discover it for the first time or, like many, relish in re-watching it. Winner of 4 Oscars including Best Picture. WIFF 2019 was thrilled to welcome the film to our audience, ahead of theatres.

Synopsis: The other members of the poor Kim family see an opportunity when their son starts working for the rich Park family. Soon, they find ways to work within the same household and live a parasitic life.

Vincent Georgie: Opening to the third best box office of the entire Summer, the new reboot of Superman starring David Corenswet has also proven to be well-liked by audiences. Let’s look at two other actors who did the red cape well, the legend Christopher Reeve and the most terrific Henry Cavill.
