Vincent Georgie: Nominated for the first time in the Best Actor category at the Oscars (after several nominations both for his supporting performances, as well as for his screenplays), former teen-star Hawke gives a transformational, funny and sensitive performance. A hit at WIFF Presents earlier this year. Good supporting performances by Margaret Qualley and, especially, Andrew Scott.
Synopsis: In 1943 lyricist Lorenz Hart confronts his shattered self-confidence in a bar as his former collaborator, Richard Rodgers, celebrates the opening night of his groundbreaking hit musical “Oklahoma!”
