(OCTOBER 2, 2025) WINDSOR, Ont. — The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) is grateful to
St. Clair College for partnering with WIFF in the purchase of a new screen and for further establishing
our long-term partnership. The purchase of a custom-made, high-performance cinema screen for
use at the Chrysler Theatre, located in the St Clair College Centre for the Arts year-round, will
improve the patron experience with a more vivid picture and crisp colouring.

The new screen will replace the current screen that has been in place for approximately 15 years.
Strong MDI Screens out of Quebec, which also produces all the IMAX screens in Canada and is the
only Canadian custom-cinema screen manufacturer, will be producing the new screen. Patrons will
be able to experience the brand-new screen at WIFF 2025.

“SCC is deeply invested in our community, and thanks to the many successes of Saints everywhere.
WIFF is a nationally-recognized and high-profile phenomenon that is not only a signature event at
our beautiful Chrysler Theatre at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, but is also enjoyed by thousands of
our students and alumni both in the audience, volunteering, and behind-the-scenes at WIFF,” said
Michael Silvaggi, President of St. Clair College. “This gorgeous new custom-made cinema screen is
one of many new ways that SCC & WIFF will be working ever so closely together now and in the
future.”

“Offering great movies and great experiences for our patrons is core business for us at WIFF, and it
is thanks to partners like St. Clair College Alumni that we are able to continually improve how our
patrons experience the Festival. We adore our easy, natural partnership with the SCC, and look
forward to working together closely on many initiatives in the coming years,” said Vincent Georgie,
Executive Director and Chief Programmer for WIFF. “The new screen in the Chrysler Theatre will
ensure that films have the clearest and most vivid picture, giving everyone a top-tier movie-watching
experience.”

The 2025 festival will run from Thursday, October 23 to Sunday, November 2. The 2025 festival is
proudly presented by the Toldo Foundation.
